ROG-BIMTOOLS Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

ROG-BIMTOOLS is a product of SKYBIM S.A.S. (trade name SKYBIM), based in Bogotá, Colombia. Representative: Johan Sebastián Rodríguez Jaramillo. Privacy contact: soporteskybim@gmail.com.

2. What data we collect, how, and why

ROG-BIMTOOLS runs on your computer. It does not send your models, files or project data.

When you activate or renew your license, and once a day while the plugin is in use, it connects to our license server and sends:

The license key you entered.
A technical computer code (a hardware fingerprint) that identifies the machine without revealing personal data.
The computer name and the Windows user name.
The Autodesk program it runs in (Navisworks or Revit), its version, and the plugin version.

Our server also automatically records the IP address of the connection and, from it, an approximate location (country, region and city) and the internet provider.

If you buy through the Autodesk Marketplace or our website, we also receive your name, email address and the payment details provided by the payment platform (for example, PayPal). We do not receive or store your card details.

We use this data only to manage and validate your license, prevent unauthorized use, send your key and renewal notices, and provide support. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.

3. Who we share it with

Service providers that help us deliver the service and who commit to the same level of protection described in this policy: Cloudflare (license server hosting), Resend (email delivery), and PayPal and Autodesk (payments and Marketplace). We share it with no one else, except where required by law.

4. How long we keep it

We keep license data while your license is active and for 24 months afterwards, for support and accounting or legal obligations. After that it is deleted or anonymized.

5. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show, update, correct or delete your data, and to withdraw your consent, by writing to soporteskybim@gmail.com. We answer requests within 10 business days and complaints within 15 business days. If you withdraw consent to sending this data, we cannot keep your license active.

6. Security

The connection to the server is encrypted (HTTPS). The license key is stored in our database only as a hash, not as readable text.

7. Changes

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version at this address with its update date.
